Step 01
Message a photo
Send a photo of the wall, the room and the router. Say what you want plugged in, and give me your postcode. WhatsApp is quickest because I can see the photos and you can see when I've read them.

Step 02
Quote
A call-out or package price by reply, often from the photos. Sometimes I come and look first. One customer put it this way: "After coming to quote me for the work yesterday". Nothing starts until you've got it.

Step 03
The job
I turn up when I said. Dust sheets down, route agreed with you before I drill, one hole with a grommet, cable clipped along the mortar line, socket fitted and labelled. Step 04
Test, label, tidy
Every port tested with a cable tester before I pack up, then your own device plugged in to prove it. Labels written by hand on the faceplate. Brick dust caught on the sheet and taken away with me.

There's no price list because no two houses are the same. Send a photo and I'll give you a price. If it's a bigger job than the photos suggested, I'll say so before I start.
Customers describe my pricing as "reasonably priced", "great prices", "Really good price" and "extreamly resonable charges". Those are their words, in the reviews, spelling and all.
The number
What moves the price
- Distance of the cable run and how awkward the route is.
- How many sockets or points.
- Outside work: ladders, a dish or aerial on the roof, catenary wire, digging for conduit.
- Kit you want supplied: switch, cabinet, bracket, access point. Ask when you message.
- Anything that has to be undone first, usually somebody else's install.
Travel is in the quote, not added afterwards.
Before you message
Things to have ready
- Your postcode.
- A photo of where the router is.
- A photo of where you want the new socket, TV or cabinet.
- A rough distance between the two, and anything relevant: "loft conversion", "garden office 20 metres away", "puppy".
- Who your broadband's with: Virgin Media, BT, Sky, and so on.
Afterwards
After
If something's not right, message me. When two NHS workers' laptops wouldn't connect through their new garden pod cable, I came back an hour later to check it through. When a puppy chewed through a customer's office cable, I was back the next day and re-routed it where the puppy couldn't reach. Both are in the reviews, in the customers' own words.

Asked before booking
Can you give a price from photos alone?
For most home jobs, yes, I can give a price from photos alone: one of where the router is, one of where you want the socket or TV, and one of the outside wall between them if the cable is going that way. Bigger jobs, business units and long garden runs sometimes need a look first, and I'll say so when you message. Either way the number is agreed before I start. Send the photos over WhatsApp from the contact page.
Do I have to be in while you do the job?
Someone does need to be in while I do the job, because I agree the route with you before I drill anything and I test the new socket with your own device at the end. It doesn't have to be you. A family member or a neighbour with a key is fine as long as they can say yes to where the cable goes. For a business unit, whoever can open up and sign off. Do you supply the switch, socket, bracket or cable?
Yes. I can supply the switch, wall cabinet, TV bracket, access point or adapter, or fit one you have already bought. For a socket, the cable, faceplate, back box and clips are part of the job. For the rest, tell me what you've got or what you're thinking of and I'll say what I'd use. Anything I supply goes in the quote before I start. The services page lists what each job usually involves.
